PATIZON & LIFETIME WARRANTY

We design our products to last in the environments they are meant for and to serve you reliably for many years. That’s our approach to responsible and sustainable outdoor gear manufacturing. That’s why we use premium, eco-friendly materials, why we manufacture our products in the Czech Republic and the European Union, and why we back them with a limited lifetime warranty. When you choose a Patizon product, we’ll do everything we can to ensure your satisfaction and to keep it functional for as long as possible.

WHY DO WE CALL IT A LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY?

This is not about finding a loophole. Nothing in the world lasts forever—sleeping bags and jackets included. That’s why our lifetime warranty has conditions that place it in the real world. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects that make part or all of your product non-functional, or its function severely compromised.

The warranty does not cover tears, scratches, stains, or wear caused by normal use, nor damage from misuse, negligence, or intentional harm. Sleeping bags and jackets may get scuffed on adventures—that’s part of the story they tell. Minor stains or small tears can simply be memories of big journeys. And even then, we can help with our out-of-warranty repair service. By the way, the claim rate of Patizon products? Less than 1%.

WARRANTY SERVICE

If a part of your Patizon product becomes defective or non-functional, we will repair it or replace it with a fully functional product in the same or better condition. Typical examples include split seams, broken zippers, or faulty hood drawcords. Normal cosmetic wear that does not affect safety or function is not covered. But if something fails due to a manufacturing defect during normal use, we’ll fix it.

“Same or better condition” means that replacements may come from our open stock, or carefully used (demo or test) items. Every replacement is inspected, certified clean, fully functional, and carries the same lifetime warranty as the original purchase.

LIMITATIONS

As noted, our warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear. Outdoor gear naturally develops character and patina over time. The warranty focuses on defects and failures that compromise core functionality. If your product is simply dirty, please follow our easy cleaning instructions.

Cash refunds under the lifetime warranty are extremely rare. We’ve built our reputation on making high-quality gear and delivering the best possible service—and that’s how we intend to keep it. Please don’t interpret our warranty as an invitation to misuse or intentionally damage your Patizon product. We can’t replace a sleeping bag shredded by a polar bear, or swap a jacket burned while lighting a fire on a mountain ridge. Stolen or lost items cannot be replaced either.

We also reserve the right to update these terms in the future.

WARRANTY LIABILITY

Our products are made to perform well in the environments they’re intended for. We believe using them is safe (and enjoyable!). However, Patizon cannot be held responsible for any discomfort, damage, or injury resulting from the use of our jackets or sleeping bags. Please act responsibly and with respect for nature and the mountains.
